MACK Rides, the oldest company in the MACK Group, dates back to 1780 and had its beginnings in the construction of carriages. Over the centuries, the field of activity changed, and the first roller coaster was manufactured as early as 1920. Even today, after many decades, rollercoasters as well as rides are passionately and precisely designed, conceptualised and manufactured. Each ride is manufactured in Waldkirch with the utmost precision and craftsmanship before setting off on their journey around the world.
Due to the latest, most innovative solutions, MACK Rides is now one of the top 5 rollercoaster manufacturers in the world. The success can be well illustrated in figures: More than one million passengers are transported on their rides every day.

Construction & Engineering
The designers and creative minds working in development plan the attractions of tomorrow – whether true steel giants like the blue fire Megacoaster, water attractions like Atlantica SuperSplash, dark rides like Snorri Tours, spin rides like Tønnevirvel or Koffiekopjes. With the Tacumeon Rides brand, MACK Rides is also active in the area of media-based attractions and works closely with other companies such as MACK Animation or the MACK Emotioneers.
Manufacturing & Steel Construction
Using the construction data from our engineering team, we create true steel giants using the latest manufacturing methods. From CNC machining and the modern tube bending system to robot-supported rail production, this offers a modern working environment at the highest level of precision. The complexity of our vehicles also requires a high degree of technical understanding, craftsmanship and a good overview: after all, a rollercoaster train consists of several thousand parts.
Assembly
Europa-Park is our home and yet we feel at home in the wide world. MACK Rides attractions are built everywhere: whether in faraway Australia on the Gold Coast or in the famous amusement parks of Florida. To support our customers during construction and commissioning, we send a team of experts during and after the construction phase and supervise the assembly.
MACK Services
"Only the good breaks ground and stays on top" has always been the company credo at MACK Rides. Even today, it is our aim to always be a good partner for our customers. Whether it's spare parts service, retrofitting, conversions or maintenance by our experts – the MACK Services division looks after all existing installations all over the world. This is the only way we can proudly ensure that more than one million passengers all over the world can experience our rides from Waldkirch every day.

Wir stellen unseren gewerblichen Mitarbeitenden drei Sätze Mietkleidung zur Verfügung. Diese wird regelmäßig gewaschen, repariert oder im Bedarfsfall ersetzt. Sweat-, Polo- und T-Shirts sind nach Absprache ebenfalls erhältlich.
