Your area of responsibility
- You will help develop the story worlds and IPs of MACK Magic, be responsible for their implementation in media productions and advance their internationalisation, with a focus on the French market.
- With your creative ideas, you contribute to the development of stories and characters, as well as to the world-building for the media products and theme park attractions of the Mack Group.
- As a creative producer, you are involved in the entire production process, from conception and content development to implementation in various media and formats, as well as in attractions.
- You work in wide-ranging, international creative teams of authors, editors, designers, filmmakers, game designers, engineers, and more, to create unique emotional experiences.
- You will comment on concepts, exposés, book manuscripts, screenplays and much more, and support us during approvals.
- You present our projects in different formats to inspire the respective target groups and stakeholders.
- You also coordinate the implementation of our IPs in media products with external partners.
- You research new content, sift through external submissions and story ideas, and develop new market segments.
- Your work focuses on project management for media productions in the moving image sector, as well as print for the international, in particular the French, market.
- To do this, you will work equally at the MACK One Germany in Rust and the MACK One France in Strasbourg.
Your profile
- You have a degree in media, film, literature or a related field, with a focus on fictional, narrative formats.
- You have professional experience as a producer or editor, or you may have completed a relevant traineeship or various internships, e.g. in film or TV productions, in editorial offices, publishing houses, theme parks or similar.
- Ideally, you are bilingual (German and French) and also have a good knowledge of English.
- Your written expression is outstanding. You always strike the right note in any text form and know exactly how to address the respective target group in a precise and pointed manner.
- In addition to your experience in production, you are also familiar with the associated editorial and proofreading processes, you know how to provide well-founded, differentiated feedback and how to professionally convey constructive criticism.
- You are passionate about family entertainment and have a broad knowledge of popular genres such as fantasy, adventure and science fiction.
- You are familiar with the European and in particular the French media landscape. Media grants are not foreign to you and you are willing to familiarise yourself with them. You keep an eye on trends and new developments and are always on the lookout for new possibilities and formats for telling our stories.
- You have strong intercultural skills and enjoy working in international teams.
