From content development and design to the next level of digital entertainment: As an internal start-up, MACK One combines and manages all creative processes. Break new ground within the MACK Magic division and help to bring our story worlds to life in attractions and multimedia experiences and to internationalise them.

As part of the MACK Magic team, you will be in excellent company. We develop convergent projects in books, film, brand development and storytelling in a unique way, creating innovative solutions for the media and entertainment industry. Your area of responsibility

  • You will help to develop the story worlds and IPs of MACK Magic and oversee their editorial implementation in media productions
  • You will contribute your creative ideas to the development of stories, characters and the creation of worlds for the Mack Group's media products and theme park attractions
  • You will work in broad, international creative teams of writers, editors, designers, filmmakers, game designers, engineers and others to create unique emotional experiences
  • You will edit concepts, synopses, book manuscripts, screenplays and more, and assist with approvals
  • You will present our projects in a variety of formats to inspire the respective audiences and stakeholders
  • You will also coordinate the implementation of our IPs into media products with external partners
  • You will research new material and review external submissions and story ideas

Your profile

  • You must have a degree in media, film, literature or a related subject with a focus on fictional, narrative formats
  • You will have already gained your first professional experience as a fiction editor or as an editor and may have completed a relevant traineeship or internship, e.g. in film or TV productions, editorial offices, publishing houses, theme parks or similar
  • Your written expression is excellent, you always strike the right note in any form of text and you know exactly how to address the target audience in a precise and concise manner
  • You have a passion for family entertainment and a broad knowledge of popular genres such as fantasy, adventure and science fiction
  • You know the European media landscape. You keep an eye on trends and new developments and are always on the lookout for new opportunities and formats to tell our stories
  • You are inspired by a dynamic working environment with a variety of exciting projects, and you can keep track of things even when things get busy
  • A good knowledge of English and ideally French completes your profile
